I read The Pepsi-Cola Addict by June-Alison Gibbons

This was awesome. The style is kind of self-consciously highfalutin as a lot of amateur/outsider writing is but really kind of serves the screwiness of the plot and characters. It was like reading a Gregg Araki movie, kind of. The new edition is pricy for a small paperback but really lovely. The short descriptions of June-Alison and her twin sister Jennifer's other short novels in the postscript had me drooling. More reprints of infamously rare self-published work!!
