Winter Daphne

Type of tea: Oolong

Brewing method: 4oz in gaiwan, boiling water

A special oolong that made me feel very fancy and sophisticated. The initial steep is very woody with a bit of nougaty creaminess and faint fruit flavors (raisin? banana?). On further steeps it develops some sweet orange citrus and floral elements that take over the woodiness, and a slight menthol-y-ness starts coming through on further steeps.
